Jay Lane This album is solemn, yet triumphant, with just the right amount of uneven texture to keep it interesting the whole way through and when the riffs come, they are sublime. Favorite track: Thoth.

Dirk Bergstrom Ever wonder what would happen if a black metal band decided to rock out with their cocks out? Forks of Ivory will drive the answer into your forehead with a nail gun. Go, listen, get your (metaphorical) cock out and swinging. Favorite track: The Howl of Garou (Part II).
Megapsychoticone

Megapsychoticone These guys create some fantastic blackened sludge with very well conceived progressive post-metal interludes. Great grooves are contained within this release... without the malignant hatred of some of my favorite bands. DO NOT let my previous sentiment fool you, this band will get your sludgy tar-filled excuse for blood pumping! Favorite track: Quetzalcoatl.
